Whitbeck Construction is currently seeking a Full-Time Site Manager to join our crew of dedicated workers. We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated individual who is organized, efficient, and has a desire to learn and grow with the company. We offer a salary that is competitive with industry standards, based on skills and performance.
Site Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Site Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on project site, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
- Coordinate 2-8 employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage, on a daily basis
- Coordinate necessary materials for proficient workflow
- Enforce all workplace policies and procedures
- Maintain and adhere to departmental budget
- Approve project plans
- Address and report safety concerns in a timely manner
- Track and monitors project progress, adhering to prearranged standards
- Ensure compliance across the worksite
- Review all project contracts before submitting to owners
- Answer inquiries from potential project partners
- Work cohesively with Sub Contractors
- Mediate on-site conflicts
- Prepare and submits bi-monthly progress reports
- Proficient in manual labor
- Adapt and fill in for labor shortages, as needed
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate’s degree or higher or certified through vocational school desired, but not required
- 5-7 years experience in a construction environment or project-based work site
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) desired, but not required
- Budget management experience required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with developing a Site Safety plan
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays as needed).
- 40-50 Hours per week depending on seasonal workload.
- Some personal tools will be required
